Nancy and Anna Goulding

Welcome

St Cuthbert's Care owns and manages two nursing homes: St Catherine's in Newcastle and Holy Cross in Sunderland.

Compassion, dignity and respect are at the heart of our care, offering reassurance to our residents and invaluable peace of mind to relatives.

Because we offer a range of care services, we can provide a home for life, removing the need to move to another home when our residents' requirements change.

We understand that making the decision to move into a care home is difficult and know how important it is to feel you have chosen the right one. To help reassure you, we would like to invite you to visit us as many times as you need to make that decision and our manager and senior staff team will be happy to offer you all the support and advice you need when considering a place in our homes.

Although our homes are founded in the Catholic faith, we warmly welcome applications from all denominations.

COVID 19 Update – October:

Due to the high infection risk in our region we have been advised to cancel all face to face visits. However, wherever possible, we are facilitating closed window visits; this gives our residents and families the opportunity to see each other safely. We appreciate this is difficult for everyone and are working hard to ensure we support our residents in all aspects of their wellbeing. To arrange a window visit or a telephone or video call, please contact our homes directly.
