Nancy and Anna Goulding

Welcome

St Cuthbert's Care owns and manages two nursing homes: St Catherine's in Newcastle and Holy Cross in Sunderland.

Compassion, dignity and respect are at the heart of our care, offering reassurance to our residents and invaluable peace of mind to relatives.

Because we offer a range of care services, we can provide a home for life, removing the need to move to another home when our residents' requirements change.

We understand that making the decision to move into a care home is difficult and know how important it is to feel you have chosen the right one. To help reassure you, we would like to invite you to visit us as many times as you need to make that decision and our manager and senior staff team will be happy to offer you all the support and advice you need when considering a place in our homes.

Although our homes are founded in the Catholic faith, we warmly welcome applications from all denominations.

News

The safety and wellbeing of our residents during these unprecedented times are our utmost priority. For this reason, we are continuing to restrict non-essential visits to our homes. We appreciate this is difficult for our residents and their families and we are happy to facilitate telephone calls, Skype, WhatsApp, Face Time or to arrange for you to see your relative through one of our windows whilst you remain outside. Understandably, we are dealing with a high volume of requests for contact and we thank you for your patience whilst we carry out your wishes.
